2.8. Diagnostics of malfunctions of automatic transmission

For elimination of the malfunctions listed in this Section address material of the Head Transmissiya. |
The starter does not function in provisions of transmission "Р" and "N", or functions in any other situation
Drafts or plugs of the mechanism of switching are worn-out, or its adjustment is broken. Adjust a choice rod, or replace defective components.
The sensor switch of permission of start is faulty, or its adjustment is broken. Check, execute adjustment, or replacement of the sensor switch.
The car is not set in motion in the provision of transmission "D"
| Level of transmission liquid (ATF) fell. Check whether there are no signs of leak of liquid on a rotation converter casing (see an accompanying illustration), in case of need add. |
Adjustment of the drive of switching is broken. Check, modify.
In transmission ATF not of that grade is filled in, or liquid is strongly polluted. Empty transmission and fill it with fresh transmission liquid of the required grade (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management).
There is no turning on of the reverse gear in the provision of transmission "R"
Liquid level fell in transmission. Check, in case of need add.
Adjustment of the drive of switching is broken. Check, modify.
The car does not keep in situation "P"
Switching drive components are worn-out or deformed (drafts, plugs), or their fastening weakened. Check, execute necessary adjustments, or replace defective components.
Fastening of the lever of the selector on a choice rod weakened. Execute necessary repair, or replace the lever.
