8. Systems of electric equipment of the engine
General information
All components of systems of ignition, start and charge are a part of electric equipment of the engine. In a look of the fact that on the functional purpose these components belong to directly ensuring functioning of the engine they are considered separately from components of onboard electric equipment, such as lighting fixtures, monitors, screen wipers/washers, etc.

During the work with electric equipment it is always necessary to observe certain security measures:
- It is necessary to be careful - electric devices especially easily fail at maloperation with them during check, connection and service.
- It is inadmissible to leave ignition for a long time included at the switched-off engine.
- It is impossible to disconnect wires from the battery at the working engine at all.
- At connection of wires from the auxiliary power supply at emergency start of the engine it is necessary to observe polarity strictly.
- The negative wire always has to be disconnected from the battery the first, and be connected by the last in order to avoid short circuit at a casual contact with the weight tool in time отдавания / tightenings of a clip of the plus plug.
