2.10. Diagnostics of malfunctions of the back bridge
The noise published by back wheels of the car take place
Noise of tires. Check whether there correspond tires on a standard size nominal for this car.
Fastening of a disk on a half shaft flange weakened. Check a condition of a rim, a nave of a wheel, hairpins and nuts of fastening of a wheel. Tighten fixture, or replace defective components.
Balancing of a wheel is broken, or will bend a disk. Balance a wheel, or replace a disk.
Components of the brake mechanism are faulty. Check a condition of brake mechanisms of back wheels (see the Section devoted to diagnostics of malfunction of the brake system). Replace defective components.
The half shaft and/or case of the bridge is faulty. Check, replace defective components.
The half shaft and/or sleeve of a case of the bridge is bent. Check, replace defective components.
The noise published by the main transfer take place
Fastening of the driveshaft or cardan hinge weakened. Check, tighten fixture, or replace the defective hinge.
Level of the greasing liquid fell. Whether check there are no traces oil leak, at detection of those remove the cause. Add oil of the required grade.
The nut of a flange of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer weakened. Grease a nut with sealant and tighten with the required effort.
Components of the main transfer are worn-out or damaged. Execute capital repairs of the main transfer.
The shaft of the leading gear wheel rotates, but the car is not set in motion
The half shaft is damaged. Remove assembly of a half shaft, in case of need - replace.
Bolts of the koronchaty (conducted) gear wheel of the main transfer are cut off. Remove assembly of the main transfer and replace bolts.
Differential gear wheels are damaged. Execute capital repairs of the main transfer.

If the half shaft failed, remove assembly of the main transfer and check it for existence in a case of foreign particles and metal sawdust. Carefully clean a case. |
There is a repeated failure of a half shaft
Incorrectly coupling is used/functions. Change a driving manner, check serviceability of functioning of coupling.
The bridge sleeve is bent. Replace a case of the back bridge.
The car is often overloaded. Try not to load the car over an admissible limit.
There is a loss of the greasing liquid
| The epiploon of the leading gear wheel of the main transfer is faulty. Check (see an accompanying illustration). Replace an epiploon, check flange surfaces. |
The shaft half shaft epiploon is faulty. Remove a half shaft and replace an epiploon.
Leak through laying of a case of the main transfer takes place. Remove assembly of the main transfer and replace laying.
Leak happens through a time or cracks in a case of the main transfer. Execute necessary repair, or replace a case.
