4.2.2. Service of yokes, their axes and hydraulic pushers

For performance of the works described below will be required a micrometer and a nutromer.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn a bent shaft, having given the engine the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. In this situation the tag on a pulley of a bent shaft will be combined with the index on a cover of a gas-distributing belt, and the runner of the distributor will turn a nose towards an arrangement of the VV plug of a wire of a spark plug of the first cylinder.
  2. Remove the air cleaner.
  3. Release VV candle wires from clamps on a cover of a head of cylinders.
  4. With a spiral order, moving outside inside, give screws of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders on a head. Uncover.
  5. In stages weaken bolts of fastening of axes of yokes and carefully take assemblies of axes. Lay assemblies as their installation on the engine.
  6. For fixing of pushers of valves in the engine put on rubber bandages their top parts, then remove guides of pushers from a head of cylinders.

In order to avoid hit in hydraulic pushers of air do not overturn them and strongly do not incline.

Dismantling and check of a state

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Partially investigated assemblies of yokes, their axes and pushers are presented on an accompanying illustration.

Axes with one tag have to be established in a forward guide of pushers, with two - in back. The scheme of an arrangement of yokes on axes is clear from an illustration.

  1. Give bolts of fastening of axes of yokes. Check a condition of axes, remove from them the revealed agnails and teases capable to cause damage of landing nests of yokes in the course of removal of the last.
  2. Remove yokes from the axes, putting them as an arrangement on the engine.
  3. Check axes for existence of signs of wear and damages. By means of a micrometer measure diameters of axes. Compare results of measurements to standard requirements (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management). Replace excessively worn-out axes.
  4. Check a condition of landing nests (openings) of yokes. In case of suspicions of excessiveness of wear measure internal diameters of nests. Compare results to data of size tables and adjustments. Replace worn-out yokes.
  5. Check all pushers for existence of signs of operation, paying special attention to the surfaces contacting to yokes. Excessively worn-out pushers are subject to replacement.

In case of detection of excessive wear of a pusher it is necessary to check carefully a condition of a working ledge of the corresponding cam of the camshaft.

  1. Serially wring out a top of each of hydraulic pushers. If the plunger is wrung out more deeply than on 1.0 mm, the pusher should be replaced. Further check of pushers can be made after assembly by 10-minute turning on of the engine with turns 1 000 in a minute. If in the course of this check characteristic noise are revealed, remove the components blocking access to pushers and repeat the first check. Replace all pushers which plungers utaplivatsya more deeply than on 1.0 mm.
  2. By means of a micrometer check guides of pushers for existence of signs of excessive wear. Measure internal diameters of openings and diameters of the pushers corresponding to them. If the gap calculated in way of subtraction from result of the first measurement of the second exceeds stipulated in size tables and adjustments (see the end of the Management), replace the corresponding components.

Assembly and installation

Assembly and installation are made as it should be, the return to a dismantle order.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure of passability of all channels and openings.
  2. Before assembly oil all components pure motive.
  3. In a former order dress yokes on axes from which they were removed. If in the course of dismantle adjusting tags were not put and yokes were mixed, use signs, illustrated on an accompanying illustration. Pay attention that guides of pushers are marked and axes of yokes with one tag have to be established in a forward guide.

  1. Establish hydraulic pushers of valves in guides and record them by means of rubber bandages there.
  2. Install components in a head of cylinders, having tracked correctness of placement of yokes in deepenings of the directing pushers. Tighten bolts of fastening of axes of yokes, so far only by hand.

Track that plungers of all pushers and cores of valves were located on the center of working surfaces of yokes, and oil openings of yokes were turned towards valvate springs.

  1. Make sure that the engine still is in the provision of VMT of the end of a step of compression of the first cylinder. In case of need make updating of the provision of a bent shaft.
  2. Tighten bolts of fastening of axes of yokes on a back guide of pushers with the required effort.
  3. Turn the engine on one turn in the direction of normal rotation so that the index on a cover of a gas-distributing chain appeared opposite to VMT tag on a pulley of a bent shaft again. Tighten with the required effort all remained bolts of fastening of axes of yokes and a forward guide.
  4. Check serviceability of a state and correctness of provision of laying of a cover of a head of cylinders. At the slightest doubts laying should be replaced.
  5. Establish a cover on a head of cylinders, screw screws and place a sealant. Moving on a spiral from the center outside, in stages tighten screws with the required effort. Connect hoses of ventilation of the engine.
  6. Install the air cleaner. Start the engine and check it for leaks.
