- Wash out all components solvent and dry compressed air. Track that from the interfaced surfaces of cases of a box all traces of old sealant were completely removed.
- Check a condition of all shaft and gear wheels. Replace the worn-out or damaged components.
- Check a driving chain for existence of cracks, signs of wear and damages.
- Examine bearings on existence of signs of wear and damages. Check freedom of their rotation.
- Check a condition of the sliding keys of the synchronizer and their spring.

- Check the blocking synchronizer ring for existence of cracks, deformation and damages. Completely put a ring on a gear wheel of coupling of the conducted shaft. Measure a gap between a gear wheel and the blocking ring (see an accompanying illustration). Compare result of measurement to standard requirements (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management), in case of need replace a ring and/or a gear wheel.

- Check the lever, rods and forks of switching to existence of signs of wear, damages and deformations. Make sure of smoothness of the sliding surfaces. Check effort of a tension of springs of clamps.
- Check cases for existence of cracks and other damages.
- Replace defective components.
