3.3. Schedule of routine maintenance of the car

The schedule of routine maintenance brought to attention of readers belongs to the cars operated in normal conditions. At operation of the vehicle in any of the listed below conditions intervals of service it is necessary to reduce a minimum by 5%:
- Towage of the trailer, or transportation of heavy freights;
- Operation in the conditions of strong dust content, dirt and influence of hostile environment;
- Frequent trips to cold season on distance not exceeding 8 km;
- Frequent distant trips with small speeds of the movement or with the long periods of operation of the engine on single turns.

Weekly or through each 1 000 km of a run (during each filling of the car with fuel)
|
|
- Check the level of motive oil. In case of need add.
- Check the level of cooling liquid. In case of need add.
- Check liquid level in the main cylinder of coupling. In case of need add.
- Check the level of liquid of system of hydrostrengthening of a wheel. In case of need add.
- Check GTTs liquid level. In case of need add.
- Check electrolyte level in the battery (at least once a month). In case of need add the distilled water.
- Check and correct pressure of a rating of tires (at cold wheels). At the same time it makes sense to estimate visually degree of wear of a protector and existence in it of the got stuck foreign objects. Time in 6 months or through each 10 000 km of a run
|
|
- You make replacement of motive oil and an oil filter.
- Check a condition of components of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
- Check a condition of the filtering air cleaner element. In case of need clean an element, or you make its replacement.
- Check a free wheeling of a pedal of coupling. In case of need carry out adjustment. also check serviceability of functioning of coupling.
- Check hydraulic system of coupling for existence of signs of leaks and destruction of lines as a result of material aging.
- Check oil level in transmission and the transfer case.
- Check oil level in differentials of both bridges.
- Estimate degree of wear of crosspieces of driveshafts, you make stuffing of hinges lubricant.
- Check a condition of spherical hinges of driving drafts of steering, you make stuffing by their lubricant.
- Check hydraulic system of the steering amplifier for existence of signs of leaks and destruction of hoses as a result of material aging.
- Check a condition of brake shoes, disks, supports and hydraulic lines. Check hydraulic system for existence of signs of leaks.
- Check serviceability of functioning of foot and parking brakes.
- Check serviceability of functioning of all onboard electric equipment, including a horn, lighting fixtures, screen wipers and washers. Grease loops and locks of all doors.

Once a year or through each 20 000 km of a run
|
|
All listed above checks, plus:
- Check a state and a tension of driving belts in a motive compartment. In case of need you make replacement or adjustment of a tension.
- On models of 4.2 l check gaps of valves, carry out necessary adjustment.
- Check a condition of all hoses of systems of cooling/heating. You make necessary replacements.
- Check installations of turns and quality of mix of idling. In case of need you make adjustments.
- Check serviceability of functioning of starting automatic equipment / drive of the air gate.
- Check serviceability of functioning of system of the operated ventilation of a case (PCV).
- Check serviceability of functioning of the automatic device by management of heating of the air which is soaked up in the air cleaner.
- Check a condition of naves with the switched-off drive and stupichny bearings of forward wheels. In case of need you make stuffing by their lubricant.
- Check a condition of the shock-absorber of the steering mechanism.
- On the cars equipped with drum brake mechanisms check a condition of boots, drums and wheel cylinders. You make necessary replacements.
- You make replacement of spark plugs.
- On models of 4.2 l replace contacts of the breaker of the distributor.
- Tighten bolts of fastening of elements of a body.
- Check a state, reliability of fastening and serviceability of functioning of anchors, buckles and returnable mechanisms of seat belts. Estimate degree of wear of tapes of belts.
- Check the angles of installation of wheels. In case of need carry out rotation or balancing of wheels.

Time in 2 years or through each 40 000 km of a run
|
|
All listed above checks, plus:
- Empty the cooling system, wash out it and fill with fresh cooling liquid.
- You make replacement of the filtering air cleaner element.
- Periodically remove a rubber cover from a cyclonic pyleotdelitel of preliminary purification of air and delete from it the accumulated dust. Time in 2 years you make obligatory cleaning of a cyclonic pyleotdelitel.
- You make replacement of the fuel filter.
- Check fuel lines and their nipple connections for existence of signs of leaks. Replace defective components.
- You make replacement of the PCV filter.
- Check a condition of hoses and nipple connections of system of catching of vapors of fuel. You make replacement of defective components.
- You make replacement of liquid of the hydraulic drive of coupling.
- On models with RKPP you Make replacement of gearbox oil.
- On models with AT if the car is operated in intense conditions (see the prevention at the beginning of the Section), you make ATF replacement.
- You make replacement of oil of the transfer case.
- You make replacement of liquid of differentials of both bridges.
- You make stuffing of stupichny bearings and hinges of power shafts of the forward bridge.
- Check a condition of vacuum hoses and the control valve of the amplifier of brakes.
- Check a condition of VV of wires, you make necessary replacements.
