12.4.3. Service of assembly of the back bridge
Removal and installation
Models Hardtop (Hardtop) and Station Wagon
Removal

|
- Weaken nuts of fastening of back wheels.
- Car back also establish to Poddomkratta it on the props got under frame elements. Remove back wheels.
- Turn out a drain stopper and lower oil from a case of the back bridge.
- Mark position of the back driveshaft concerning a flange of the leading gear wheel and a drum of the parking brake. Disconnect the driveshaft and take it from under the car.
- Release a collar and disconnect a ventilating hose from a case of the back bridge.
- Disconnect a brake tube from a flexible brake hose, release a fixing clip and release a hose from a basic arm. Zakuporte the open ends of a tube and hose in order to avoid hit in the hydraulic brake system of dirt.
- Disconnect a valve spring - pressure regulator from an arm on a case of the back bridge.
- By means of two supports or jacks prop up the bridge in horizontal position.
- Give fixing nuts, remove washers and disconnect the lower support of shock-absorbers from a case of the back bridge.
- Give a nut, remove a washer, then, having hooked the lever, separate a cross jet bar from a bridge case.
- Give nuts and disconnect racks of the stabilizer of cross stability from its bar.
- Give nuts and bolts of fastening of the top and lower longitudinal jet bars of a suspension bracket to a bridge case.
- Omit assembly of the bridge and remove screw springs and their rubber saddles. Remember adjusting provisions of springs.
- By means of the assistant take the bridge from under the car.

Installation
Installation is made upside-down.

- Bring assembly of the back bridge to adjusting situation, then insert bolts of fastening of the lower jet bars of a suspension bracket, however do not tighten a nut at this stage.
- Establish on the places screw springs with saddles. Track correctness of placement of components. Prop up the bridge a jack.
- Establish the top longitudinal jet bars, a cross jet bar and shock-absorbers, however do not tighten fixing nuts at this stage.
- Connect a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability to racks, tighten fixing nuts with effort of 32 ÷ 38 Nanometers.
- Install the driveshaft (the sliding joint forward). Track correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle. Tighten fixing nuts and bolts with effort of 93 ÷ 108 Nanometers.
- Connect a ventilating hose and a brake tube, pump over hydraulic system.
- Fill in necessary amount of oil of the required grade in a bridge case.
- Lower the car on the earth and tighten with demanded (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management) effort of a nut of fastening of longitudinal jet bars, shock-absorbers and a cross jet bar.

- Give nuts and disconnect racks from a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability.
- Give fixing nuts and, supporting springs, take plates of earrings and fingers from their back ends and arms of the chassis. Lower the back ends of springs on the earth.
- By means of the assistant take assembly of the bridge from under the car.

Installation

- Track correctness of placement of a case of the bridge on the central bolts of springs.
- Establish fingers, plugs and plates of earrings of springs, however do not tighten fixing nuts at this stage.
- Establish U-shaped bolts and basic plates of step-ladders of springs, tighten fixing nuts with effort of 108 ÷ 147 Nanometers.
- Install the driveshaft (the sliding joint forward). Track correctness of combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle. Tighten fixing nuts and bolts with effort of 93 ÷ 108 Nanometers.
- Connect a ventilating hose and a brake tube, pump over hydraulic system.
- Fill in necessary amount of oil of the required grade in a bridge case.
- Lower the car on the earth and tighten with demanded (see size tables and adjustments at the end of the Management) effort of a nut of fastening of fingers of earrings of springs and shock-absorbers.
