10.1. Service of assembly of coupling and mechanism of switching off of coupling

For implementation of the procedures described below will be necessary the tool for centering of the conducted disk (for coupling installation) and a stripper or the hammer with sliding brisk (for replacement of the plug of the directing bearing).

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove transmission from the car.
  2. Having pulled for the internal end of the lever of switching off of coupling, remove the lever from a spherical support, then take it together a rubber protective cover and the bearing from a coupling case.
  3. Release a clip and remove assembly of the release bearing with the holder from the coupling switching off lever.
  4. Release a collar and remove a rubber cover from the switching off lever (components of the mechanism of switching off of coupling are shown on an accompanying illustration).

  1. Fix a pusher in the executive cylinder of coupling in order to avoid pushing out from the piston cylinder.
  2. Mark the provision of a basket of coupling in relation to a flywheel (at assembly it has to be observed).
  3. Gradually weaken fixing bolts and remove assembly of a basket and the conducted disk from a flywheel (internal components of coupling are shown on an accompanying illustration).

Check of a condition of components

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Examine a surface of frictional overlays of the conducted clutch plate. In case of detection of signs of wear, zapolirovanny to gloss of sites or traces of pollution replace with oil the conducted disk.
  2. If the disk is recognized suitable for further application do not allow pollution by its oil, the lubricant cleaning or hydraulic liquid, etc. at all.

At wear of frictional slips up to the height of 0.3 over heads of rivets the conducted disk is subject to obligatory replacement. In case of identification on a disk of traces of oil it is necessary to reveal and eliminate a leak source.

  1. Make sure of reliability of landing in the conducted disk of its nave. Check a condition of damping springs.
  2. Check a condition of components of a basket of coupling. Estimate degree of wear of petals of a diaphragm spring of a press disk, check whether there are no cracks in them. Examine the case of a basket on existence of signs of deformation. Minor defects can be eliminated by means of a thin emery paper.
  3. Examine a flywheel surface on existence of the cracks caused by an overheat, traces of an obgoraniye, scratches and zadir. Eliminate easy defects by means of a thin emery paper.

Strongly damaged flywheel is subject to replacement.

  1. Check the plug of the directing bearing in an end face of a bent shaft for existence of signs of wear and damages. In case of need take the plug by means of a stripper or the hammer with sliding brisk and establish instead of it new (by means of the special tool with a step mandrel). At the correct installation the plug has to act from an end face of a bent shaft on 5.8 mm.
  2. Check a condition of the lever of switching off of coupling, fixing clips and a spherical support. In case of identification of signs of strong wear or fatigue information replace defective components.
  3. Check serviceability of functioning of the release bearing (the bearing has to rotate freely and silently). It is necessary to take the bearing from the holder only for his replacement. Installation of the new bearing is made by a zapressovyvaniye of its internal holder.
  4. Replace all defective components.

During cleaning of components of coupling do not immerse the release bearing in the cleaning liquid. The bearing is filled by lubricant at manufacturer and does not need additional greasing.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Moderately grease vents of a pin of a main shaft of the transmission a disulfide - molybdenum lubricant on a lithium basis. In case of installation of the new conducted disk check freedom of its movement on vents of a pin of a main shaft. Remove a new disk from a shaft and remove excess of lubricant from components (a pin of a shaft and a nave of a disk).
  1. Place the conducted disk on a flywheel the acting sections of damping springs towards a coupling basket. Record a disk in adjusting situation by means of the special aligning tool (the suitable tool can be manufactured of a piece of wooden whetstone or a metal core of round section - see an accompanying illustration - the size A = by ø of the aligning neck of a main shaft, In = to internal ø of a nave of the conducted disk).
  1. If the basket of coupling is not replaced, achieve combination of the landing tags put in the course of dismantle.
  1. Screw bolts of fastening of a basket to a flywheel. Tighten bolts in a diagonal order, evenly in several stages with the required effort. The assembly of coupling established on a flywheel is shown on an accompanying illustration.

In order to avoid damage of bolts of fastening of a basket before starting their tightening make sure that all from them are screwed. You make tightening according to the instruction stated above in this paragraph.

  1. Take the aligning tool from a nave of the conducted disk.
  2. Moderately grease the ends of the lever of switching off of coupling and its spherical support a disulfide - molybdenum lubricant on a lithium basis.
  3. The same lubricant grease with a small amount contact points of the holder of the release bearing and fill deepening in the holder's nest.
  4. Dress a rubber protective cover on the switching off lever.
  5. Connect assembly of the release bearing with the holder to the lever of switching off of coupling and establish a fixing clip.
  1. Bring assembly of the lever with the bearing to a coupling case, having tracked that the fixing clip was strongly latched on a spherical support of the lever (the mechanism of switching off installed in a coupling case is shown on an accompanying illustration). Also check reliability of fastening by a collar of a protective cover. Miss the mark a cover joint with a surface of a case of coupling with silicone sealant.
  1. Weaken a pusher of the executive cylinder of coupling.
  2. Install transmission on the car.
  3. Check adjustment of height of situation and free wheeling of a pedal of coupling, in case of need make adjustment.
