12.2.3. Removal and installation of the stabilizer of cross stability

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Car front also establish to Poddomkratta it on the props got under a case of the forward bridge.
  2. On models without spherical hinges in racks of a bar of the stabilizer give nuts of fastening of racks of a bar to arms of the chassis and remove washers, rubber plugs, remote rings and bolts of racks.
  3. On models with spherical hinges in racks of a bar give nuts of fastening of racks to arms of the chassis and remove washers and rubber plugs (with the required effort). Give nuts of spherical hinges of racks and remove racks from the car (see an accompanying illustration).

  1. Give bolts of fastening of basic arms of a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability to a case of the forward bridge. Remove arms from the car.
  2. Take a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability from under the car.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check a state and track correctness of landing of rubber pillows in arms. Tighten fixing bolts with effort of 25 ÷ 32 Nanometers. At the correct tightening of bolts the tags put with paint on a bar of the stabilizer of cross stability have to act evenly on both sides.
  2. Check a condition of rubber plugs and, at the corresponding complete set, spherical hinges of racks of the stabilizer of cross stability, track correctness of landing of components. Tighten the top nuts with effort of 20 ÷ 23 Nanometers.
  3. On models with spherical hinges in racks tighten nuts of hinges with effort of 20 ÷ 23 Nanometers.
